How far do you have to go from Gillette for good mountain riding?

about the same east or west. big horns west 2 ish hours. black hills east 2 ish hours, lead sd. or south about 3 + hours

Or when the snow is right... just one hour East to Sundance. We made several day trip out there last year and had a blast. Gotta watch the Snotel though and make sure they have snow.

Gillette has a great opportunity for work, and is with in 2 hours of good riding on the horns. Many people drive the distance for the weekend. They take a trailer up and rent a spot for the winter....so you have the entire weekend on the mtn!!
