This challenge will end Sunday night @ 9pm MST & I will post the winner @ 10pm using an online RNG.
Donations are accepted via PayPal: riderehab@gmail.com

I happened to be surfing back to my roots (HCS Forum) and came across this thread:

If you want to cut through the woods to find out what happened, see below.

Posted by Jesse, her fiancé:
"Ashley went riding with 2 friends while I was at work. On their way home Ashley was ahead of them about 100 yrds. It appears she hit what we have found to probably be a mostly buried log with her right ski/spindle. From her injuries I am pretty sure the log flipped her and the sled and a large portion of the force was transferred into her abdomen thru the handlebars.
Ashley's other injuries are consistent with trying to stop a fall.

Her injuries were/are:
Broken femur, both shattered wrists, both elbows dislocated, collapsed lung, fractured skull, 5 fractured vertebrae, ruptured stomach, ruptured large intestine, bruised left kidney, detached right kidney ureter.

Ashley was air lifted to a Buffalo trauma hospital where she underwent an immediate exploratory abdominal surgery and repair of her femur with a titanium rod. She received 6 liters of blood due the bleeding from her femur.
At this point, Ashley has had 3 more surgeries and if all goes well she will hopefully not require any more. She is still in critical condition and in tremendous pain and discomfort."

Thanks!

Post up a mailing address & who the check should be made to & I will drop a check in the mail.

Sorry to hear about this.

How is she doing? (Both physical & attitude?)

Copied this quote from a member off HCS...I have no relationship with any of these people, only the sport.

"I went to visit her on Wed. She looked good all things considered. She has a very long road to recovering fully, but she has great support from Jesse, so she is in good hands. It will be months before she is back to normal, and hopfully she will get back to 100% . Only time will tell."

Last chance today!

Either Mafesto or Poodragon800 will receive the Rim Liquor bottle lamp below. I'll use a RNG at 10pm to determine the winner. Using numbers 1 - 100, Mafesto will win if an odd number is chosen & Poodragon800 will win on an even number. Thank you both for your contribution to that young ladies recovery efforts!
