It's pretty hard packed out there, if you go up to about 7500 + you might be able to find some soft stuff. It got really cold last night, so the snow might be better.

The Winter Inn is closed in Warren but Burgdorf is open for swimming and I hear they have food, like hamburgers.
And what is the snow like, well it is good to very good up high, over 7000 feet and north of McCall.

It was nice/sunny and cold all week, warmed up a lot and started raining a bit today. I haven't been out for almost two weeks now, but we found some good riding then. Was told there were some small pockets of untracked last weekend, but with Winter Carnival and no snow for darned near a month, it is pretty slim.

There is good stuff in the trees to be had but you have to work at it far outside of all the standard spots. Pretty much spring like but it isn't warming up enough to get the mush in the late afternoon yet.

I am heading over on the 14th and would like an update on the snow conditions.

Just got done riding & it was good up high. Snows a little fast coming down hill in spots, but up to knee high fresh powder north of McCall. Didn't look like we would have good snow when we left the snow park, but just headed up to where we could still see snow in the trees. My brother lives here & was surprised we got good snow, since the valley floor hasn't got much snow in the last month.
Did you head up past Goose Lake? I heard it was still good up there as well.
Heading there on monday wife has 3 day clinic with Amber starting tuesday.Anyone riding out of bear creek looking for someone to ride with my buddies backed out.We are staying at Bear Creek.
