Revy Conditions

Rode Boulder Wednesday and the first day of Frisby's Closure opening on Thursday April 16th. Boulder was a lot of fun with bluebird and a foot of fresh with more in the trees. Suprised how dry the snow still is with the warm temps.

Frisby's Closure terrain is great. Lower elevations so it was effected by the warmer weather. Crusty surface first thing in the morning but the sun cured that quickly. Tons of fun. :)

The parking lot a Boulder is mostly bare. Snow on the trail starting just after the bridge at the base. Frisby's trail had snow from the base and they were grooming it through the weekend and done for the season.

First pictures is Boulder. The rest from Frisby's Closure areas. The pictures are crap - cell phone camera.

Hey Tuesday,

Is that climb at Keystone on the first big drop in before you go around the hogs back?

Why it rock hard???? rain a bunch up there er wats the deal??? prob heading up thursday... wondering if anyone has any new news.... thanks

Took a quick trip up Boulder yesterday and it was literally a skating rink all over the mountain! Had to keep the scratchers down in the alpine.

The guys used the groomer to haul material up Frisby yesterday. It was groomed from the 3 km. parking area to the cabin.

Just got back. If you have any sort of trailer, you better know what you are doing or be prepared to tickle a little gravel.

9ft at the boulder cabin. Couldnt find ground with my probe in the alpine in boulder or frisby. Lots of snow left.

By next weekend the snowline will probably be somewhere along the big straight section of the kirkup. Allready dirt showing there. This weekend it was just down from there in probably the narrowest section of the road, just a few 100 yards below the big turnout.

Lots of snow on the frisby trail once you hit snowline. Still pretty smooth all the way up.

Thanks for the update. Love to go this weekend but the weather looks like crap. We've gone as late as 1st week in June in the past.
