Reverse ?

A friend of mine bought an 04 800 Summit and it does not have reverse. How much of a job is it to put it on there.

You would have to get the harness from a 04 or 05 sled and split the cases and install the new harness and stator. I'm going to guess your buddy has a 03.5 rev as those were the only rev's that didn't come from the factory with it.

it must not be the origanal engine , because after 2001 they all came with reverse

No, do a search the very first rev's 03.5 did not have it. My 02 700 does not have it. Only some of the newer zx chassis's had it. After 04 all had it.

You would also have to install a new MPEM. One set up for reverse if I rember correctly.
