Well went to ride today and my reverse dont work, and having it pinned in deep snow it would kinda seem like it would skip half a beat. It was idling low so i turned it up. Maybe TPS out of wack?? Ideas?? thanks

I am not total convinced that it is just the TPS causing all these issues. The pins are actually quite large on the connector and they have alot of spacing between them. It could actually be caused by moisture in getting to the ECU or some other connection. They have micro pins and I think the moisture would be more of a factor. My advice is to pull the hood off and pull apart every connection, let it dry completely and di-electric all of the connections. If this doesnt cure it, then there is some other issue. The fact that the ECU connectors are on the side and the moisture could actually collect at the bottom of the connection and "arc" the two lower pins is quite likely.
Well, last night I went through most of my connections, the two worst ones with water were the lower ECM Connector and of course the TPS Connector. After drying out the ECM Connector, my sled still wouln't idle properly or go into reverse. I then dried out and used dielectric grease on the TPS Connector, and then my sled started running like a dream. I hope this is not something I have to do after every single ride.
