150 miles, 3rd ride, push the reverse button and nothing, tried turning on off several times nothing, held it down for a few seconds nothing, Fuse? Rubbing wires? going to the dealer today but i thought i would put it on here anyway.

I had the same thing trying to unload off trailer. Tried the same thing as you-- key off, then back on. For me, it worked. Let me know what you find out in case it comes up again.

Thanks.

TPS out of spec will cause this too. Any idling issues, too high or too low? The ECM must see the proper TPS idle voltage before it will allow it to go into reverse, protection to ensure it doesn't happen at higher RPM's.

X2^^^^

It is very important that the TPS sensor is giving the ECM the right voltage to enable the reverse to work.

It also could be a loose or bad connection.

went to the dealer and put it on the computer, had 3 codes, throttle stuck wide open, overheat, and low coolant, reset it and everything worked fine, took it out this afternoon and it worked fine for an hour then it started flashing engine at me again. i'll take it to the dealer tommorrow and get on the computer again, find out which code it keeps throwing. wtf?

never saw an overheat or even put it in that situation, been ridin pow since the begining and the throttle stuck wide open i figured would be a frozen sensor, coolant levels are fine?

once the sled starts flashing codes it throws it into retard mode and gives you no throttle control?

I have also had this trying to offload from my 2-place tilt trailer. Outside temp was around zero f, and I let the motor run for about 10 minutes. I would hit the PERS and it would die. Tried several times with same result. So I unloaded by yanking it off manually, rode the rest of the day and after a 30 min warm up ride, never had the problem again. I reason it was the higher idol due to cold temps?

I'm super interested in your results. I made the HUGE mistake of replacing the stock throttle block/kill switch with the setup from RSI. Seems the new ECU really needs a functioning throttle safety switch in the mix (I pulled the plunger out of mine). The sled ran fine for a few hours and then didn't idle or go into reverse.

Went to dealer, cleared codes for stuck throttle safety switch, got a few more hours of normal running and then got into in some bizarre variant of 'limp mode' (stumbled everywhere but over 7K RPM). Back to dealer, new code of TPS Unexpected Transition. I gave up on the RSI setup and put the stock block/kill switch back on and now it runs fine cold but won't idle/reverse when warm. I guess I'll go back to the dealer to plug in for more diagnostics/re-flash.

I recognize that this is self-inflicted and hope to be out of the woods soon. My sled ran perfect for 400 miles until I replaced the throttle block. My new plan is to never touch any of the wiring/electronics on this sled ever again!

mine ran fine after replacing tps , not a hiccup, love this sled to death, electronics are touchy on this thing and it protects itself as soon as those sensors are triggered, i'm not messing with anything either, good luck.
