reverse helix help

Can you use a regular helix, 2005-2006, non reverse helix in a newer sled with the notch(for reverse) in the helix?
I have a clutch that has the adjustable spring and I would like to use it on a 09 with reverse, can it be used?
If not what conversions are out there that work?

I don't know why you couldn't? The notch in the helix is there so in reverse the secondary cannot open and therefore speed is controlled. Without the notch the secondary can start opening and allow fast track speeds backwards. If you're ok with that then it should work.

You will not be able to use your reverse....the sheaves will just open up and the belt gets sucked between the sheaves.
