Reverse doesn't want to work

Checked the switch & tested good ,tried increasing RPM's doesn't seem to help , dealer didn't have any idea over the phone ,

TPS is off. Needs to be reset.

I found the connector was loose down by the steering post, mine was doing same.

Make sure your throttle cable is adjusted correctly, too loose can cause this issue. Also raising the RPM locks out reverse, throttle has to be in closed position for it to go into reverse. If wiring and connections are all OK, start looking at your TPS adjustment. Sticky post at top of axys section for tps checking. Eric

Take your hood off and pull all the connections apart and dielectric grease them.

Mine was acting like the switch was dead. Haven't had a problem since I did this. I noticed some corrosion in mine

crank sensor

on mine dealer did all the above to no avail
it proved to be crank sensor,
was too off don't quite remember if it was 20 thou and should be 30 or the other way around
anyway they did this and was perfect rest of season
on 2016 axys

What side is the crank sensor on ?is it adjustable ?
