Reverse delete

Thinking still about reverse delete, I see most people a getting the 800 shaft when doing this, why can't you just not put the reverse gears and chain on? Just put the gear on the drivers, gear on the jackshaft, install chain and that's it?

nothing alike.they tried to reinvent the wheel on that one.just swap to a 800 shaft and gear.

I remember a thread on HCS where some guys had did something to eliminate the reverse without changing to the 800 shaft. Do a search over there as I am too lazy!

Just cut a piece of tubing get a washer and a countersunk bolt I have 1000 miles on it with no problems. Don't forget loctite.
