I put different piston, head, and a can on now my revers doses not work.
It now has about 145 compression, did everything short of hooking up to a
Computer. It's a 12 800.

Took to dealer to check n he said with that high compression it won't work.
I'm in Mn and just want everything to work when I get out to the mountains.
Any body heard the perk won't work with that setup.

No compression won't make it not work mine has a 14-1 head and works every time tps seems to be the common problem associated with reverse problems

The service guy said with that high of compression it may not want to change directions to go in revers.
Perk is a doo thing an I know they do mods n have revers.
Checked the ohms on the crank sensor they were good, checked the tips with ohm meter n that seemed good, but you have to plug it in to a computer so u can adjust it n set if.
.service guy thought the compression was to high n with that would not work.

I have 145 psi compression stock after a rebuild and it shifts into reverse fine. Tell them to lower the tps just a tiny bit and it will work. I had the dealership reset my tps and I had the same issue you have. They set it to the highest ohm limit and it was too high to shift into reverse. They tried to give me some bull**** excuse and then they set it a fraction of an ohm lower and the problem went away.

Thanks I'll let him know, he was going to call polaris direct to see
what they say about the issue.
Revers is a safety factor and nice to get out of the trailer.

Yeah its the TPS did the same on my turbo sled, you can just back your idle down a bit and it may start working fine, that was my fix instead of messing with tps, hardly took any movement at all

My 2012 has 170 psi comp and the reverse works fine.

It was idling around 1800 specs r 1700 +- 200 .
I turned up the oiler n I guess that may have done it.
Put comp on it out of adjustment set it a little low works fine now.
thanks for the help
