im wondering if it is easy for a couple first timers that havent been to revelstoke before to get to the monster bowl? give me some directions if possible thanks

Just go to the Boulder cabin on any saturday morning and when you see a big group of $40K+ Yamamods, with riders that look like they know what they're doing, ask if they'll take you there.

seriously though...would strongly suggest not going to places like that wihtout someone to guide you...there are people who will...pay a small fee for keeping you from dieing...contact the local snowmobile club they will recommend a few people...

better bet is to show up at Zala's the night before and look for the table with all the pink drinks...then buy them a tray...you'll be in for sure!! :D :beer;

HaHa, These guys would get ya there but you probly wouldnt want to let them hold ya up for too long... Ive road with this certain group once or twice and all I ever see is a bunch of hottub talk at the hotel about climbing big chutes and a bunch of sitting at cabin once they actually get to the hill....

But seriously, these previous posts are all amazingly acurate tips that you cant go wronge by!!! The long Gooseneck trailer with a dodge attached in the Boulder parking lot is probly a good bett too!!!

Cabin is easy place to find...The rest, is backcountry riding, and if you are not experienced...10 feet can make the difference in safe and a ruined trip...

There are all kinds of maps, and all kinds of people who go there on a daily basis, but dont venture into unknown terrain without people who do know it...

That is great advice about that area. From a guy that went up there for his first time last year I will say that place is awesome but there are spots that you could get yourself into a world of crap in a hurry. Was glad I had some pieps that new the place to show me around.

Lots of good people up there that are willing to show pieps around if you give them enough notice your coming up and wanna ride.

ha ha i think i met these guys somewhere befor plus they had a big a$$ cooler of bud light.:D:beer;:beer;

the best thing is to pay a guide, there are a few good guys in town. be careful just riding with guys, they all say that they know Boulder, very few do. Unless you have pieps probs and shovels and know how to use them alberta hill will be all the action you will need. Spring riding is the best for most people, belt sanders can go anywhere then.
