We were thinking of a trip to Revelstoke around the first of the year.

Does anyone have some good info on where to stay and where to go for some good back country riding.

Thanks for the feedback.

Peaks lodge is super convienient!! You can just park your sled in the locked yard and there is a bar in the hotel. No drinking and driving with great food.
I've also stayed in the town of Revi at Powder Springs, good place to stay for a good price, but still have to drive to and from sled zones.
The Glacier house is sled in / sled out as well.
One of these three you'd be set!
If you are a rental person, either Peaks or Glacier is your best bet!
Both of those give you direct access to Boulder, Revi's main zone. It's huge and easy to spend a few days up there without getting bored.
Golden (near by town) has great riding as well if you are looking to mix things up. Mount 7 Lodges is an amazing place to stay as well.

Days Inn is one of the few motels that prefers sledders over skiers. Thyeygo out of their way to protect our rigs and give us a good place to stay. They have cameras on 24 hours a day in the parking lot and you can watch your rig on your tv in your room.

They have special rates for sledders so tell them you are coming to ride.

Very friendly and a good free breakfast.
