I'm writing an article for a magazine on avalanche rescue techniques. Purpose is to increase awareness and make riders more effective in a rescue. I have volunteered my time for this.
I would like a dramatic photo to catch people's attention, so that they read the article. I remember seeing photos of the recent Revelstoke accident with sleds sticking out of the snow vertically and rescuers on probe lines. I feel that was an amazing rescue by everyone involved and an excellent example of an effective rescue. Does anyone have photos that they would like to contribute for the article? You will get credit for the photo in the article.
