Our guest sled was ran out of oil last weekend (sigh) and is going to need help. My question is can I buy 800 cylinders and pistons and do an easy swap on this 2006 600HO motor?

Thanks!

600 to 800

I think RKT does a 734cc kit for that bottom end.

One more question please, before I tear this down does this have nikalseal or are the cylinders boreable?

So the next obvious question, I have it apart and the cylinder needs replated. Who would you suggest to do this?

I think most use millennium in the Midwest.

One thing I did find over the years - if you ever do stumble or decide to look at 700 S3 cylinders..look for them from a Formula Z instead of the MX of the Summit. I understand they were sand cast cylinders and generally made a few extra HP over the Summit and MX cylinders.

So are the 700 cylinders and pistons just bolt on and go on this fuel injected engine? Thanks!

Sorry, I assumed this was a carbed HO. If this is an SDI your options are significantly slimmer. The 700 cyllinders are only carbed cylinders. If you want to do really anything to the SDI cylinder you need to add a boondocker box (or ?? Not sure what else is out there) to add fuel. At this point, my guess is this will force you to stick with the stock bore and redo the cylinder.

I would contact either Kelsey or Big John. I know both had worked with overbores, etc on the HO motor in the past.

Ok, thanks!
I listed it for parts in the local Craigslist, too busy really to get very involved in it. Thanks for the help though all who answered.
