rev 600 ho or edge 600 ves

ok so im now on a polais xlt-rmk with a 136. i am looking for a new sled. i am 5,11 and 207 pounds. i want to stay with a 600. wichhas more power a rev 600ho or the 600ves. wich is a better climber. and wich is a better boondocker. i am wanting to run 8inch risers and 144 trcks with 2in. padles. and stock skis. i am looking for the best of the two so any info is needed thanx.

The polaris edge will be cheaper cause it will be 02?-04, ski-doo rev will be 04 or newer. you cant go wrong with either sled they are both great to ride and a big improvement over what you currently ride. The rev will handle slightly better than the edge. with the edge its cheap/easy to replace trailing arms, rev not so cheap/easy to replace the nun and a arms and bulkhead.

Go with the rev. Have rode with one quit a bit and they work real well in the trees, and climb real well also, that 16" wide track has the poo beat all to heck. And I am a poo guy myself.

For almost any application, you'll want the REV.
If it's an 03-04, check the rings, maybe put some pistons in. But they are a blast to ride.
I have a 600HO SDI with a 144 and that thing is a blast to ride. Fun and light and easy to handle.

went from an 02 polaris edge 700 that was pretty tricked out to an 05 rev and built it up but you can see the mods under my signature. When the rev was stock it blew the polaris chassis out of the water. now that its modded it feel untouchable. It will take you a little bit to get use to the ride of the rev chassis but after 3-4 rides you'll be riding harder than you've ever ridden before.

As a fellow Rev rider.. Go with the REv. I have riden both, and the Rev is untouchable between those years..

I'd go edge! then you have the familiar ride and feel of your previous sled, but with much more power and better handling. Not to mention how cheap you can get an edge for and not to mention parts and such.

hands down the rev. had em both, the edge chassis is oldschool and outdated. with the rev you will NOT be disappointed. you cant compare the two.

Slightly better handling? It is hands down, much, much better handling chassis.

Why would you want to go with familiar when you can get a much better handling and responsive chassis. It is worth taking a few days to get used to a new chassis. Especially when it will make you a better rider.
