reusing head orings, allways a bad idea?

about to reassemble everything on the motor with new head etc, I ordered new head orings out of habit, but looking at them last night I was impressed how good they look, not a crack or anything, they honestly look new
specific orings are between head and cylinder
always a bad idea to reuse these things? normally I wouldn't consider it but im ready to get this thing back together

and Polaris partshouse does not let me choose a fast shipping option, they are driving me crazy with a near 2 week wait for parts

I have reused them lots on Doo motors.
Never any trouble if they are in good condition.

Have reused em a lot. Give em a good coat of white lithium grease and slap er back together!

i have also reused them with out issue , i really wouldn't worry about it

Lorduss-- you're local here in Tahoe, right?

Like others have said, I have re-used without issue. But....

Reno Cycles and Gear-- may or may not have it
The Polaris dealer in South Lake-- I haven't used them yet

Top end gasket kits (head orings, cylinder base gaskets, exhaust y-pipe, and VES gaskets) can be ordered from Pioneer Powersports in Truckee and usually have them the next business day. Pauly, the owner, is my next door neighbor.

Michelle at OTS usually will have those in stock at prices equal or less than Babbits, and can mail them straight to your house.

I'm in Truckee, but I usually have a good selection of parts in a pinch if you need them and replace my inventory.

correct murph, south lake local here, infact I have seen you around before I noticed your posts online
I checked with sierra mountain sports (the south lake Polaris dealer)
he just used them in a build, they were in great condition so they went right back in, I was getting impatient after having my sled down almost 2 weeks (of course its a upgrade, so its my fault)

thanks for the heads up, appreciate it
