resale value on 2013

When are you going to sell it... here in Utah the '12s have been going for between $9500 and $9900 with 600-700 miles on them this year.

I would pay more for a 11' or 12' then I would for a 13'. It would have to be a smoking deal for me to own a 13', sorry but not into the belt drive or having to worry about the clamp. Would rather have a chaincase and older shaft, so I'd want the purchase price to reflect having to buy those items, sorry, just being honest here..

Hmm...Just so you know my 2011 Pro blew the chain case because I lost teeth on the upper gear and eventually lost oil (leading to the chain seizing). My 2013, although only 300 miles has not lost a belt, tooth or drive shaft.

NO!!! It cant be. Chain cases are indestructible and according to a post the other day so were the diamond drives. lol

Why did you loose teeth on the sprocket? That is not that common. I've used some pretty roached chaincase gears and chains with no problems. I know with the way I ride and where I go and do that a chaincase would be better for me personally, tired and true over the latest and greatest any day.

I know!! It was raining today so I couldn't ride :face-icon-small-ton

12s came with low chain case oil from the factory so have fun with that. They are all super awesome PsOS. 13 boards are the best. Someone will offer a strong belt and 13 will best best pro MY yet. Gooday.

I know I'll be looking for a holdover 2013. I had the chance to ride one and the difference between my 2011 and the 2013 was huge and I want one bad:face-icon-small-hap, unless of course they come out with something really cool. So far we've only seen one driveshaft blown without the coupler. It looks like if the belts are broken in properly they last. Say what you want but I think they're awesome sleds with a couple flaws that can be taken care of. I think resale will be pretty good since not everyone is a snowest member.

the resale on pro's has been strong the last couple of years. i would think with the number that have been sold that will slowly start to come down a little with more and more used ones hitting the market. also depends on what gets released this spring.

tommy, the koolaid must have no effect on you:)

Naw.... no one's paying more than 8k for a 1 year used one with above 500 miles. And if they are they're paying too much. Just paid 10k out the door for my 12 pro brand new.

And yes the 13's are going to be a bad year for re sale, no need to be in denial. Most everyone is going to know about their issues and as a buyer you just don't know how the sled has been broken in. There's no way I'd buy a used 13 unless it was way, way down in price.

sounds like a 50/50 market out there haha!!! IMO every sled has its issues no matter what nothings perfect just like a car or anything else but mine has 164 miles broke in the right way and mines the LE white edition with a skinz bumper and a black hood instead of the white it was to much haha. But keep repling people i like hearing opinions good or bad have a good day buddies!

The resale is going to be good. I have only heard of a few belt failures from my dealer. Unless they do something amazing with the 14's I am keeping my Pro and modify it.

I just switched and I couldn't believe the difference in power alone! My '11 had a pipe and can and it was still night and day. You won't be disappointed...

IMO there are so many pro's out there now that the market will be flooded with them and this will drive the price down. Something similar happened with the Edge chassis a few years after they came out.
