How's everyone liking theirs? Worth getting rid of my 08 for a 10? Only complaint I've heard is they supposedly don't turn as well.

I love mine! Night and day from my 07. Well worth it. They don't turn well? Ha first I've heard.

I never rode an 08 but the 07's were the biggest pile I ever seen. I am a doo guy but I have an 09 hcr with pg turbo. It is the funnest sled I have ever had. They don't turn on their skis as sharp as a doo but they are better than they used to be. They are way better in the trees. I just rode my first 2010 and it was awesome for a stock sled. My biggest problem on a stock 09 was underpowered and a little doggy out of the hole compared to the doo's. Well they fixed that in the 10's. I bet the 2010 is way better than what you are riding.

The reason I switched to a M8 was for it's handling, and I don't regret it one bit. The 2010 M8 153 just feels so responsive, I find it so predictable and receptive to what I'm doing. I've rode a 2008 M8 and to me the 2010 feels very similar, but I didn't ride them back to back for a real good comparison and I've not a lot of time on the '08. I feel way more comfortable on the new M8 as I know what this machine is gonna do when I lean or countersteer, whereas I felt completely incompotent on my XP summit, which I got sick of fighting with to get to sidehill or turn (fully realize and admit the biggest issue with the summit was my own inexperience and impatience to learn to ride it). Add the handling of this new M8 to the powerfull new engine and awesome track, not to mention the adjustable bars and underseat storage and I think it's a great mountain sled. Only issue I've had with the M is I find the rear suspension kind of rough but I think I might have that solved.

Love mine, very happy I made the purchase. It sucks on the trails and hardpacked. My diamond drive bearing had to be replaced at 100 miles.

Cant take it away from me !

There is no way it will ever pry out of my hands...

I purchased my 2010-M8 SP a couple of weeks ago and I am coming off of a 2006 M7, which I still own.

What is there to not like about it? The trail characteristics, getting to the play areas, are much improved. Boondocking feels easier, I can't really articulate the reasons why though, it just feels easier.

Of course, the first time I gripped the throttle, hard, I realized CAT has hit the mark on this engine. After getting the first tank through it, the quick response and the amount of HP surprised me, even though I had read all about it, so VERY nice!! It is better on fuel, so far, than my M7!

The seat is better then expected. I did not find it slick at all, in any condition. Kept things dry underneath it as well. It is nice to not hit the seat when jumping from side to side as well.

I love the reverse feature for saving my back. Speaking of which, I can lift it off the ground, from the backend, with minimal effort, one handed. I am not a big guy either. 165-170 lbs.

I know there are issues with some of the sleds already sold, bearing in the DD, Primary spring, etc... but they all seem to be relatively minor fixes. I will be keeping an eye out for anything else as well, with good PM, however everybody should be doing that.

I had buyer remorse until I climbed several places, quite easily, where my M7 was lacking. Nope, there is no going back for this old boy......a very happy camper here....

Just my .02.......
