2018 163 3” with tki belt drive
I ripped my track last week. I’ve got an opportunity to get a great deal on Camso track. Just wondering if folks have any feedback on the Challenger X3.2 and or Challenger X3. I mainly ride in California (actually not bad so far) but make 2-3 trips out of state where the snow is a bit lighter. Open to any other feedback. Thanks

Camo extreme sawtooth. Best in all conditions.

Ok thanks. Definitely deep snow, tree ridding is mostly what I ride

I have no personal experience with the 3.2" my biggest concern is although it clears is possibly creating a sort of log jam as things get TIGHT in there.

the 3" camo extreme seems to work quite a bit better then the factory 3 inch. bigger larger spaced paddles seem to grab the snow better and trench less.

myself, and my buddy just put camso x3 tracks on our sks 155s.
I have the tki belt drive, he has chaincase still.
He replaced the 2.6, I replaced the 2.5CE (replaced the 2.6 last year).

Neither of us have really noticed a difference in performance between the 2.6 (or 2.5), but I have only been out 2 days this year, yesterday the first real day of riding.

I would go with the X3 for our conditions. I would venture a guess you are in the Sierras.

Only two days?..... work is more important???!!!....

Get those priorities straight! :face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-win

Optimum track design has been 3 lugs across and is about 50% more efficient than stock 4 lugs across tracks, because the snow escapes out the side of the lug and has further to go with the 3 lug setup. The sawtooth is for traction on ice and keeps the sleds rear end from spinning out. Pick your poison for lug height, with higher heights being more difficult to cool the sled.
