I snaped a spindle on my sled yesterday and I need a new one and was thinking of replacing them both.

Anyone try the timbersled billet spindles ? will they work with ZBroz A-arms ?

What other options besides stock are there?

I thought the timbersled spindles were only work with the bark buster front end?

Zbros sells a spindle.

Patrick custom carbon has spindles there$$$$$$$

Oft racing was building a spindle, but I don't know what ever came of that.

Z-Broz is no longer making spindles. They used up there stock more than a year ago. I can not speak to / for the rest. I have a used pair of Holz from the IQ's that looks to be the same geometry as the PRO. Although I have not meaured them.

That is why I clicked on it, assumed it was his latest offering for us. There still is hope.

There is hope ! I have Several drawings, toolpaths ,etc. its close But not done and there always seems to be surprises with the first prototype. Spindles seem fairly simple but are not. There is lots of things to consider

I have the Timbersled spindles. As mentioned I do not think they will work with stock a arms. Hi quality stuff, the spindles look beefy!:face-icon-small-coo

I confirmed that the timbersled spindles will only work with their arms. All the more reason to get mine finished = No competition

We'll hurry up then. Do you think it's possible to make them stronger and lighter than the stockers? Build them narrow like PCC and timbersled does.

that's easy just use 7075 aluminum and a good design. the material would cost as much as a stock spindle but they would be very strong

I hope to get some done and tested this season but it is unlikely at this point I will sell any until some testing has been done.
