Replacement Idler wheels & Half links

I'm looking to get a bigger idler wheel for my mtn horse. Perhaps an 18 or 20 The stock is a 15 tooth.
Anyone have any success finding something along these lines?

Also looking for suggestions on a half link for a 520 chain.

Built up my kit and my drive chain is rubbing on the track. I have the correct size countershaft sprocket according to the TS instructions (15 for the husky). I also tried a smaller 13 tooth sprocket and attempted to shorten an old chain however no luck on that either. Its either too short or long.

Look forward to your replies!

I looked at that exact problem being worked on last week at Penco Power Products in Kalispell, Mt. 406-755-6229 They were working on a set-up for all the Husky guys. I believe they have a combo that will work for you. Give them a call and ask for "Brock" in parts.

I have never seen a 1/2 link for 520 oring chain, 520 sprocket is same as 50 chain sprocket just narrower most industrial supply houses handle idlers with bearing in them, if you have a friend with a lathe he can narrow you up a 50 idler to work on 520 chain

I checked out Wajax (Formerly Kaman). They could get a 17 tooth. I just need to confirm the OD of the jackshaft. Not sure if its metric or standard. The Idler sprocket on there I was told was metric (ID of bearing). Need to get some calipers on the jackshaft.
The stock Idler does have a slight offset though so I'm not sure how to compensate for that.
I'd think that will take some slack out but not sure if it will be enough.

It is 25 mm with a 1/4 key, you will have to bore the sprocket and broach a key in it. This not a std size. guess thats why they are $85.00. A 520 chain will not lay over a 50 sprocket you will have to machine some off the side and use a b hub sprocket. ou have to narrow that up too. Make frien with a machiist.
