Repairing a Torn Off Lug on a Track.

OK guys, need some of your collective wisdom.

I have a nice clear torn lug with no secondary damage to the track.
The cords are not damaged and the track itself shows no other signs of damage.

Whats the best treatment for this?

Having never had a "Partially Damaged" track before, wouldn't we want to seal up the Cord against water intrusion??
Its rubber and cords vulcanized together, I've never worried about it on any of my sleds. I suppose if one really wanted they could put some RVT silicone there or maybe some flex shot... I love those commercial's
