Repacking exhaust on a 503?

Love riding my hawk but damn is it LOUD...wondering if these "silencers" are repackable or if I have any alternative replacements available,I know alot of the noise is from the fan whirring away but I think there could be something done about the drone at 40 mph down the trails....

any suggestions or options?

Or let someone else ride it more often.

hey blazin , not sure what your can looks like on the 500 but on the 600s im cutting the out end off on a ban saw about a 1/4 in . Take a piece of 3/4 by 16 or 14 gauge and weld it to the outside lip of the cut off end then you can repack slide exaust end back on and just spot weld for easy removal and future repacks . Been workin great for me dun 3 of em so far this year ! All three have been totaly burned out once cut apart to see
