I basically made a bunch of little piles all over my property so we can burn them...trying to pretend that they were hand piled ;)

apparently you can get permits right now for hand piled but not the other

some roots were frozen in prety good while others just popped out

you have to get permits to make a burn pile?? wtf did i miss something here?

i know what ya mean. our teacher had me up on top of a mock "berm" that was 30' tall scoopin and finishing off the top. swinging over either side was a bit freaky!

I used a Hitachi about that size for sorting logs back when I worked a a sawmill. It took a little while to get used to because the controls were the opposite of the cherry picker I ran for about a year. Slammed into the ground a few times.:D It got interesting when you picked up a large spruce log and when you swung around it started to fall over as the load came to the side of the tracks:eek: I only did that job for a little while, I got tired of going in circles and not getting anywhere. The next job was driving a 120K Dart. Good job in the winter, hot as hell in the summer sitting on top of that V12.
