Has anyone every made a map of the back side after you go over the saddle ? How far can you go.

If you go out the North East corner you can go back at least 5-6 ridges; full day to get to the end and back to the cabin. You have to know where to drop through the trees to continue further back.

There is a map hanging on the cabin wall or contact Barry with the local snowmobile club. He's on Snow & Mud all the time. The place is huge! Lots and lots of different spots. The cabin area can be packed and we'll head out back and won't see a track all day other than our own. Higgins.

According to google it is only 30 - 40 miles to grand cache. Has anyone gone through. This would be a good overnight trip.

Can't be done. I've talked to a few older guys from here that have tried along the Sheep Creek; and it has never been done from what I've been told. To actually come through into Grande Cache a guy would also be in Willmore Wilderness Park.....a non-motorized area.
