I have heard that it is necessary to drill holes in the cases if you are removing the oil injection.
2000 rmk 700.. I have the cylinders off and it appears there are holes at each end and center. are these the holes and mine is good to go, Or do these need to be punched threw? . Anyone have any info on this??
Thanks

Post a picture. But if there is a hole in the pto side of the pto cylinder and not just an "indentation" then it is drilled and you are good to go.

I believe all the 700s were drilled but not all 800s are.

Thanks Guys.. Based on the photo I should be good..Mine looks as though the hole goes all the way threw. It does not look like the photo..
I dont have the lower end apart and dont intend to.. A flashlight doesnt really help.. I must be seeing the bearing??
Ill post a photo ..
Thanks

on my 99 700 they were pre drilled . i also put some longer tubing on the oil injection fittings before plugging them so i can just shoot a bit of oil in each one every ride or two just to be safe
