I would never scrape the stickers off. But then again I have never bought a beater, which may take more effort then a newer sled.
Heat gun or perferably a hair dryer at the perfect temp and they come right off
glue and all. Maybe a quick wipe with WD40

X3, Use heat and use it wisely!!!! Take your time and in the end it's actually less time with less mess to clean up.
