I'm trying to pull out the brake assembly, rotor, and drivers. The sled is an 08 M8. I have the nut off and diamond drive out. How do I remove the rotors?
thanks!

Don't remove the brake rotor

Look inside the tunnel and remove the nuts from the brake assembly.. There is 5 or 6 1/2" nuts in there.

This will allow you the travel needed to get the driveshaft off the diamond drive side.

I have all that off already. Maybe I should be trying to take the drivers off to get the brake assembly out?

Just pull it towards the brake side thru the tunnel about 4-5" use a dead blow hammer to knock the driveshaft thru the brake rotor as you hold it up. you may need to use a socket to get the shaft all the way thru.

If you want to take the drive shaft right out you have to pull the rotor off. There is a funny looking nut on the drive shaft that holds the rotor on. You can buy a special tool from cat or use a hammer and punch to spin it off. Once this big nut is off the rotor will come off, you can push the whole assembly out far enough to get the driveshaft off the dd and then pull it out.
If you can google midwest manuals and download the PDF copy of the service manual for like 7 bucks. It is worth it's weight in gold

Put a small diameter pipe down the track shaft and pound away. I think the bearing was stuck to the shaft. Thought for sure I was going to break something, but it let go.
