removing bogie wheels

Some of the bogie wheels are bent on my skid. I see some guys just remove them anyway and I am gonna do the same and move my scratchers a little farther forward. Anyone else done this? tips or tricks are greatly appreciated. Oh and this is on an Apex.:D

I removed them but I have hyperfaxes and I used the mpi scratchers that mount at the front of the skid.I dont have any pics of it since I have taken them off and Ive only put on 100 or so miles. supposedly removing the bogey wheels helps the hifaxes wear evenly.

I have removed all idler wheels except the front inside ones, too lazy to take the cross shaft out. I am running only 2 wheels in the rear. I have Simmons Gen I with cooling fins and rail mount ice scratchers. Mainly have been running trails so far, just not enough snow to do much off trail here. 500 miles and no sign of wear. A couple of times I got a little nervous because of conditions, but all is good.

well I pulled all of em except the front inside wheels. I will give her a try this weekend and see how it is.
