removing air box 2012 pro???

Can you know how guys tell me whats the best way to go about removing the air box on the pro?
Thanks in advance.

remove hood, console, steering post loose and hang off the side
the air box itself is in three pcs. the top has a sensor,The middle snaps on like the old days. Then you need a really long screwdriver to get the boots loose and if you twist just right hang your tongue out sideways, cuss a couple times then it comes right out.
the middle piece holds the fuel filter and another line and that just snaps out.
the one thing i did not try was taking the spark plugs out for more room.
you trying to get to the reeds?
good luck Mike

Was affraid of that. Installing a BD turbo. I did not want to pulll the steering down. I was hoping i could slide the center stage out one side or the other. What a bitch. The rest od the sled looks real easy to access and i quite like the design work i see. Looking like it will be more than a hour or two to get this in and right. I thin ill break and put on the lefty and skid plate while i muster up the nuts to pull it all down.
Thank you sir.

After you remove the side panels, and hood you can take the seat and fuel tank off, makes the air box easy to get out. I did this with the fuel tank almost empty so I just laid it over the front of the engine. You will need the proper tool to take the fuel line apart to remove the tank completely.

Take the seat and gas tank off, it takes all of 3 minutes and you can remove/install everything from the back.
Gotta get the fuel line removal tool from napa for $16 and your good to go.

Any 3/8" and 5/8" fuel line release tools will work.. your local auto store will have them..

I find plastic ones work the best

You Can make your own out of old little red and white fuel filters.
cut off the end,and slit long ways.
works great and is cheap enough to make one for each tool bag!:face-icon-small-win

SkiBreeze posted the plastic fuel line tool kit that you need. You will need 2 different sizes but they should both be included in the kit. I bought mine at napa, but any autoparts store will have them for under $20.
Pull the seat and tank, and your golden.
