removeing injectors from wiring harness?

Going to send in injectors to get cleaned and flow rated. Just wondering on an 2008 what is the best way to remove the injector form the harness? looks like there is a wire tab that has a few spots of epoxy on it...does this need to be removed and then the injector pulls off? Thanks.

Yes, Also Usually a little metal Retainer clip.. Just depress it and pull.. after glue is off..

The glue is just so they don't come off.. U can use a dab. of GOOP!!


P.S.. Use Marvel Mystery oil ... as a Injector Lube.. Just use a couple drops on the inlet side of injector.. so it doesn't dry up at all.. U can't over do it.. Its just Lube!

If you are sending them to WitchHunter Performance, don't worry about removing the wires.

They'll do it with the wires still attached for no extra charge...will save you from fighting with trying to dissolve and get those pesky dabs of epoxy out of there.

Thanks...i think i will just send them in as is. i got the metal wire clip of one but can't figure out how to pull the injector off. Don't want to force to much. thanks.
