Removal of Stock Decals

I started to remove the stock decals on my 05 Summit. I used a heat gun, and about a bottle of goo gone to try and remove one of the side panel decals and the left over glue. Just wondering if there is an easier technique or a better product to remove the glue as this is very ineffective.

I have found that the heat gun works best. Just take your time.

Use brake cleaner to get the sticky film off

Heat them up & they should pull right off. Any residue will come off easily with brake cleaner as mentioned above.

yup heat then pull, 3M makes a pretty good adhesive remover too. thats what i use

i would stop using the goo gone right now. i used that when removing he decals off my 07 last year and it discolored my panels

Heat gun, then WD-40....comes right off...

be patient, use a heat gun and for glue removal. I found a good precleaner at carquest works amazing.
