Remington Nylon 66 Rifle

Anyone know how to clean the semi-automatic bolt mechanism for this .22 rifle? The rifle will fire 1-4 shots, then fail to feed the next round.

I've put graphite in there but doesn't seem to help much. Maybe that wasn't the thing to do.

I would like to disassemble and thoroughly clean it.

When they first came out, I thought they bragged on the cleaning. You could wash them in soapy water. I don't own one and never did. Remember we are working with a bad memory. Contact Remington for answeres.

A buddy had that issue with his & switched from 36 grain bullets to 40 grain bullets & that cured the guns feeding issues.
