Reman/renicked cylinders or new

my '10 d8 grenaded and i've found a crack in the cylinder. I'm planning on doing "the fix" rebuild. But now I'm wondering if I should go reman or new cylinder. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Renicked or reman are fine. I have 2k miles on my cvtech cylinders

US Chrome does a great job fixing cylinders.

Hard to go wrong with Indy Dan.

I haven't observed it personally, but some claim they've measured factory cylinders that are significantly tapered top to bottom and have incorrect piston clearance. For that reason, I'd want to have a re-plated cylinder that has been fit to the pistons that will be used (making the assumption that the cylinder can be repaired).

Most places will re-nik the cylinders to the pistons you're putting in.

Indy dans top end

Does anyone have any information on Indy Dans top end? Is going with his setup going to give me the longevity? Does it account for the original problems these pos(polaris) motors are having?

Contact US chrome. You can send the pistons in with the cylinders.

I have heard nothing but great info on Dan's long rod motor for the 08-10
D8s....so I hope they are right, I just bought one to put in my D8. I will let ya know in a few weeks how it does.
