While we were at it. We sent in the case and had it drilled for oil passages. NO MORE ISOFLEX.

They also come with wider than stock main bearings.

Please explain more about drilling the case for oil to get to the bearing? Want to keep riding doos but not if they cant hold a crank together or have to repack bearings...Dino
 
Look in your casting. There is a little cup like area cast into the case. This was cast specificallly for an oil catch basin. They quit drilling the hole and started using isofex for the bearings. The oil hole is drilled at an angle from the bottom of the cup and into the space between the bearings.

As the engine runs and oil is pulled up from the case bottom, it pools up in the cup and drains down between the bearings.

It cost $100 to have Seadoo drill it. This was on an 800 but I would think the 600 would be the same. We figured $45 a tube for Isoflex X2 or $100 and no more Isoflex. Went with the drilling. Case and crank were at Seadoo clinic anyhow. Been running great all year.

Give them a call at Seadoo. They were top notch all the way.
 
E mailed Sea doo clinic, they got right back to me. They do not doo the case mod anymore, they run Sealed bearings with there own lube and a fatter bearing on the pto end. Will call them later. Its only a $80 more than the stock reman from doo. Dino
