Hi, I'm thinking of relocating to Idaho and am interested in Island Park. Is the sledding all its cracked up to be? What about the summer? Good ATV/dirtbike trails? Fishing/hunting? Looking to move to a community that supports motorized recreation. Anyplace else that fits this bill that is within 1.5 hours of a regional airport (travel for work). Any downsides to Island Park nobody talks about? Thanks for any insight.

I love Island Park and was just there today. I've been kicking around the idea of buying a cabin there for a couple of years. I know there are many people who live there year round but for me I think it might be a little too isolated. There are lots of varied riding opportunities but might be a bit crowded at times. Between the local Island Park riding and riding that is available within a short trailering trip, the opportunities are limitless.
