Relocating battery???

Hey guys,

A few posts lately have mentioned their battery relocations to under the hood. Can you guys share you placements and statogies?

I run a trail tank on my 18 HC 153.

#1 the channel on the bottom of the tank was not deep enough to properly channel the wires through as a caseway without crushing them and I feel they might rub and short eventually

#2 the stock leads and harness is not long enough to reach back to the battery with the extra room the trail tank uses and they have to be lengthened.

I'd rather relocate but would like to see what you guys have done and what you would do different.

I put my battery in front of the exhaust on my M1100T.
This pic isn't mine but it's a good idea.
