Relays Sealed Or Not? / CR-1 Relays Vs. SR-1

Just purchased a pull start 2016 holdover built in June 2015 and doing everything I can to tighten things up under the hood.

I've checked my relays and this sled is equipped with three SR-1 relays. I've read a few posts on these problematic relays but are the SR-1 relays sealed versus the CR-1's ?

Should I dielectric grease them, wrap them up, pack a few extras and hope for the best or are the SR-1's sealed units that don't require extra preventative maintenance? Thanks in advance

I believe according to info from other threads the SR-1's are sealed.
I used dielectric grease on the connections. It definitely has prevented corrosion.
Many have reoriented the two relays by the crossmember so they won't hold water. I haven't done this yet but it is on the list.

i have a '17 with sr-1 relays with 800 miles of powder, just checked them and the two on the crossmember had dielectric grease and looked fine. i moved them up to the carbon overstructure. The relay in the velcro bag above the clutches had no grease and some corrosion. I wasnt having any issues before or inspecting, but im glad i caught the corrosion on the one. these forums can give you the webMD feeling that your sled will implode haha

This is what I did with mine. ZERO issues since and I've been in some deep snow recently which was almost a 100% guarantee to trigger issues on my sled with them.

Moved them into the upright position, greased and wrapped them with electrical tape.
