Reinforcement of NYTRO boards with Snow Eliminators

The boards are awful flimsy from stock, so when you remove the OEM board stiffeners and you cut out the centers for snow eliminators, she gets even worse. Just a matter of time and I will lay em over. I bent some 1/8" steel L brackets I made to about 75 degrees and riveted them under the boards and into the snow eliminators and the tunnel. Stiffened them up, but it is just bent steel (has memory and loses tensile strength when bent) it is heavy and looks like crap. Anyone made some cool improvements to the Factory boards with snow eliminators in them yet? Or is everyone just jumping to the new tunnels?

Have a Nytro with Better Boards and no problems after 600 miles with boost. Don't jump much but ride the trails back to the truck and haven't seen any problems.

same issue, but then I had that issue with my Rev too...then I am not a small guy...and not the least aggressive rider either...

so, pick up some 3/8ths inch cold rolled square stock steel, and pull off the outside tread step (7-9 rivets), and put the steel inside there...and voila, problem is solved...

for me would have had to do this even if I had stayed with the stock boards...so itis not a better boards issue, just me issue...

BB, not sure about Snow Eliminators, but the Better Boards really stiffened up the boards.
