Reglue Overstructure?

Yup glue does the job. Had to replace a carbon fiber piece once.

What kind of repair did you do to the carbon fiber? I have one I was going to fix and never got around to it...

There was no damage to the tube at all. I just noticed signs of movement at the joint. The tube slipped right out. The socket was full of water. Several freeze/thaw cycles may be what broke the bond.

Thanks... I replaced my overstructure with an SKS aluminum one, gained a couple ounces I suppose, but sturdier. I think mine was cracked when I bought the sled used, just got worse over time until I saw it when putting on an slp pipe, as I have never jumped or wrecked the sled. If I ever find the time I might to a titanium repair and sell the SKS overstructure... I think Polaris quit doing the carbon fiber on the axys tmk at some point too.

And looking at the state of your engine, in the background, looks like you have other "issues" going on too. :)

Back on topic. This Fusor stuff is expensive. We may try some JB weld until until a good used piece presents itself.

I thought there was an automotive substitute for this used by body shops, IIRC the original Polaris uses is Lord's adhesive, but a google search might bring you up some alternatives that people are using on things like the chaincase that are glued... never had to do it myself so I don't recall the names of them

Yes. Cracked my carbon fiber. Replaced it with the sks aluminum and used JB weld. Years later and its still good to go ?

Yes - Norton makes a 2 part adhesive that's good for it ...no problem just make sure it's clean before reassembling + a light scuff with some fine sandpaper helps
