To all the fish cops out there. I finally had a positive encounter with them yesterday at Tibble Fork. I have always been legally registered and have rarely had a positive experience when being checked.
Tibble parking lot was busier then a Walmart parking lot on black Friday, people everywhere and 10-15 cops walking around checking EVERYBODY and everything. My dad forgot to put this years sticker on one of the sleds we were going to use, the cop said we could not ride it since it had not tags. We asked if he could radio the VIN in and see if its registered, he did and it was registered and he let us go and went on his way. He didn't give us crap for no good reason, he wasn't out to get anybody. It was a VERY busy day and very stressful for these guys but they were cool with us and understood. The other sleds had current registration and some would say the tags are not in the proper location (rear tunnel), some had paper work and some didn't. they had no issue with the tags being behind the shock tower, which was a first as well. So to the fish cops at Tibble, thanks for being cool. To the rest please be more considerate with those not trying to get away with anything.
Oh yeah the snow was great over the holidays!!
