Reeds

No v- force!!

I would recommend against V-force. Too much dinking around to fine tune the sled after you put them on. The carb boots supplied with the reeds will last you MAYBE 4 months if you are lucky. The stock BRP reeds are just fine. Keep it stock, pull the rope and go . IMHO :beer;

reeds

the stock reeds from skidoo are JUNK, they will delam !!!!!!! I ve had new ones in the bag from skidoo go bad , buy Boysen or v-force, at least they will warrenty them , I have now switched to Boysen!@!!!!, check your skidoo one I'll bet they are already bad,take them out and look at them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised they lasted this long!!! You need to check them or it could cost you a motor ( personal experience ) Boysen is the way to V-Force Boots are worst than stock.

the reeds are fine. replace em when they are chipped. you gotta take em out and have a look. on big bore stuff you might gain a few hp with V-force on the 800 stuff

the boots are the problem, as above

I switched the reeds on my 02 Renegade 700 to the Boyesen Rage Cage because my stock ones were starting to rip. I decided to go with the Boyesens because on the 700/800 instead of a rubber reed boot the whole block is aluminum.
