Reecer Creek or Tampico /conditions anyone?

I know there are some folks out there that have rode the last few days and know what the conditions are. Be nice and share!! Storms advertised this week, lets pray for BIG SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

went to the blewett side Monday there was very very good snow east of lions rock and a little south back in some hidey holes. we were in 2 feet of fresh snow and not a track for miles. You just have to know where to go to find the stuff that blows off the top. 6 inches on lion is much more in other areas. we were on low fuel in under 4 hours.

Right, we were up on Sat. and that is pretty much how it was then. When you were up did you notice all the tracks from the weekend ride were covered up by lions rock and if did you go up to haney meadow at all?

we were close and should have stopped by... that whole area had great snow but still slim on base probably ony 4 feet down low so we did not drop down to @#$%^creek
when was the last time you were in there?
Is it still got the wood stove and wood stocked up?
I should make a family day in there but since my daughter discovered snowboarding includes boys she could care less about sledding.

Bill - I haven't been in there yet this year, so don't know about the wood....Tried to get in with a dirt bike this summer and it was posted "no-motorized" veh's. I got within a mile, and could have taken a single track trail, but my buddy is 66 and didn't want to..Will head that way soon......

There is still wood by the stove. They had the chili feed last weekend and used some of it but lots of people riding that weekend. Anyone know if it is snowing that side of the hills currently?

I doubt they had a chili feed at this cabin because they probably cannot find it.

report from a friend that rode Blewett to reecer creek today...some new snow since monday but then came some rain..not the best and still thin in places. snow in the forcast..keep your fingers crossed.
