Redline

Does anyone own one of these? Hard to find. I have never seen one in person, only on the net. Pretty crazy looking suspension setup. And first to put a 4-stroker in a snowmobile. What happened to them? Too pricey like ADBoivin>?

we've got a member on here who is absolutely crazy about them...goes by the username "redlineguy"

w/ a username like that, he has to own at least 10 or 15 of them.

there was an article in snowgoer a few years ago about what happened to redline. i guess there is one guy who bought a bunch of the inventory and proto type parts when redline went out.

Yes 2's not 4's
Micro Belmont purchased the remainder of the inventory.
Redline reorganized and started to produce a STV Sport Terrain Vehicle.

Redline was to come out with a 595cc 4-stroke. A single cylinder engine. It never made it.

Fairly primative by todays standards IMO.....even if their finances allowed production, they didn't have the $$ to advance every season or two to keep up with the industry.

WOW! this baby is super fast over the ice and snow! I only get to use it some weekends when I am at my house out of town, but this is the most spectacular £8000 I EVER spent

I bought one of these babys not that long ago. Trust me it rides like a dream - I've ridden quite a few in my time and this is by far the best. Save up and buy one - trust they are amazing!!!

I got hold of one of these bad boys in Sweden, and not realising how powerful they were, I almost fell off. From then on I was speeding over frozen lakes and pure virgin powder. Serious fun!

Wow! These things are great! I'm telling ya they are worth the 8000! I got myself one of these not long ago, it's just finding the time to get to some snow now though :(

I was lucky enough to use one of these puppy's in Alaska, a bugger to turn until you get used to it, the local inupiat eskimos were jumping off 40ft cliffs - respect, go on someone buy me one.

This thing rules!!! It rides like a ***** on heat, just watch those snowboarders scatter as you carve them up on the piste!!!!!

"We recommend you move to Canada so you can use this every day"? Just try snowmobiling down Bay street when it's 30 degrees Celcius outside.
Joe Canuck, Canada - Jul '01

Glides across the snow like a greasey beaver!! Ace toy for the rich man!!
Jonny, Suffolk - Jul '01

I bought one of these babies last winter and it rocks. I now need to know where I can buy some snow?
Matthew Phillips, Wales - Jul '01

This snowmobile is unbelievable, it glides on the snow like a dream. I'm thinking of buying another one for my boyfriend so we can race them.
