Redline vs. Skidoo oil

I have been running redline oil in my RT1000 for 2 years 3000 miles , it blew up , broke a piston , broke the case , lost two crank bearings, tore it apart and it is the dirtiest motor i have ever seen , wondering if the redline oil is the problem

NO--it is not the oil---All that grime---Belt dust--the 1000 is famous for this issue. Suprised (not really) Doo did not come up with a real air fliter system. Alot of guys have just put Pod filters on to stop this from occuring.

I agree that the oil probably didn't cause motor failure, however after 1200 miles with Redline, and the subsequent 1800 on Doo XPs semi-syn in my 1K, the Doo oil definitely burns cleaner. Saw a big difference on E-raves and exhaust ports. My .02
