Recreational Snowmobiles should be outlawed

Someone got separated from his friends and then got hurt pretty bad from the sound of it. This happened in the Boise foothills, AKA Yuppie Mecca. You get crusty looks from people when you pass them on a dirt bike even though the trail you're on is clearly marked 'motorized'.

So now we have some genius commenting on snowmobiles. BlizzardIce and I figured that there would be some snowesters that would be happy to respond to this ignorant comment:

We were up there last weekend, didn't see any other sleds but I'm sure with the gate being open below the parking lot this won't be the last time we hear this...

Every one remember that it is not only this troll, how about the person editing the report,,,,,,,, remember a lot of those people are just as upside down when comes to equal use rights also. So finding out where these reporter / editors stand is important also. Because media in itself can hurt or help our sport.

everyone gets all riled up when some politician wants to put a move to ban something, like snowmobiles, guns, dirtbikes, problem is there are two sides of this. go ahead and take one of those things away. all the tabs that get bought wont be coming into the states and more. none of the taxes will be there. a multi million dollar industry is not going to get shut down because of some damn beauracrats.

I was just on the Statesman's website and the story is still there. Scroll down a little on the homepage and give Farang a little of what he deserves!

He is a negative POS all the time on the site. Obviously a typical person uneducated about outdoor sports.
