I'm replumbing a 00 800 RMK and am thinking of running with this clear blue polyurethane fuel line. Any thoughts? I also need to run fuel line inside the tank with an in tank filter so the tubing in the tank will be submerged 24/7. The previous owner ran some sort of tubing in the tank a while back and it disintegrated. I found pieces of it lying in the bottom of the tank and it was all crumbly, not brittle, but would fall apart with the slightest touch and looked all fat and bloated. Wtf did he use that disintegrates like that? I dunno, maybe some crap hose from an aquarium? Anyways I dont want that happening ever again. Soo...blue polyurethane vs. the standard black hose. Thoughts...
Btw...I'm going with 1/4 inch throughout, is this the typical size for a 800 RMK? I was pondering 5/16's but it seems less common. The reason I ask is because some of the tubing on the sled is 5/16's from Napa so it was obviously something he threw on there. It didnt seem to fit very snug on the barbs of the pump and fuel shut off valve.
