05 REV has been outside on the back of my truck for about 10 days now since I last rode (crappy snow in BC!). It's not been that cold, maybe down to -6C at night and 1C in the day.
Took the slack out of the rope and gave it a yank and had a huge amount of resistance. Can't get a clean pull, the rope kind of stutters with increasing resistance to full extension. Tried about 50 times and problem gets no better.
Last time I rode had no problems starting.
This has happened once before, a year ago, after the sled was stood outside overnight in -30C. Back then it took about 10 pulls before I got a clean pull and I put it down to the cold temps.
Any ideas.....Recoil busted?
Thanks
