I agree. I got mine a couple weeks ago and I was very happy with how it turned out. Great guy to deal with. My dad had me order him one yesterday too :face-icon-small-coo haha

I mounted mine under the lip and added 3 more rivets using backers as well.

An attempt to mount on top of the lip - almost sticking straight out.

I cut the lip off with my little air saw and mounted it on top. I looked at the bottom side but didn't like the look or fit so on top it went. I think it's really cool all the different designs and colors you can get. Retro was perfect. Good quality product.

What did everyone do with the little lip that sticks out where the snowflap mounts? Cut it off or bend it down?

Left the lip and mounted on the backside of the close-off panel in case I needed to go back to the stock flap for some reason. Added a strap to help keep it from getting sucked in the track

Mounted mine on top. I made a plastic shim for each hole, beveled, between the frame and flap. Then mounted with fender washers, and round headed hex/nylocks, tight to the tunnel. Gonna add a strap. The stock flap will go on when I sell it at the end of the season. Too much time, too many tools...

Matt is great to deal with, highly recommend their product and customer service is second to none.

Here's mine,

The Pro RMK flaps are quickly becoming out number 1 seller.

Heres a couple more from the last show we had.

Dude, you really like dirty rice!!

If he likes the Shocker you know that there is no way he is going to eat just plain old rice. Gotta go dirty!:becky:[/QUOTE]

For those that haven't browsed my summer project thread, here's why I went with the "Shocker" flap, courtesy of an accident during a crane operation while in the AF.
